FAQ
Every Gelagen Question, Answered
Forty-five questions in five groups: the product, taking it, safety and amounts, buying it, and refunds.
The product
What is Gelagen?
A chewable supplement with thirteen declared nutrients in a fruit-pectin gummy. Two gummies is a serving and a bottle holds sixty.
Does it contain collagen?
No. It is a vitamin and mineral formula. The nutrient in it that actually touches collagen is vitamin C, which your body cannot build collagen without.
Which nutrients, exactly?
Thirteen are declared. This site publishes amounts for eight: biotin, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin B12, zinc, folate and vitamin A. One page each.
Is there a proprietary blend?
No, and that is the most useful thing about this label. Every nutrient carries its own figure rather than being pooled under a combined weight.
Is it gelatine-free?
The gelling agent is pectin, taken from fruit peel. Read the rest of the panel for anything else that matters to how you eat.
What does it taste like?
Berry, from fruit-derived flavour and colour listed on the panel.
How many gummies in a bottle?
Sixty pieces, and at two per day that works out at thirty days.
Is it vegan?
The gelling agent is plant based. Whether the finished product carries a formal certification is something the label states.
Is it made in the United States?
Yes, in an FDA-registered facility. Registration is not approval; no dietary supplement in this country is FDA approved.
Taking it
How many should I take?
Two a day. The whole panel is calculated for that serving.
When should I take them?
Just before a meal, ideally breakfast, with a glass of water.
Chew or swallow?
Chew. It is a food format and the release is meant to start in your mouth.
Do I need to take them with food?
Just before food is the instruction. Four of the thirteen are fat soluble and absorb better with fat in the meal that follows.
What if I forget a day?
Take your normal two the next day. Do not take four.
Can I take them at night?
Yes, if that is when you will actually remember. Consistency beats the clock.
Can I take them with coffee?
There is no known problem. Gummies first and coffee after is kinder to your teeth.
Can I take them with other supplements?
Usually, but total the vitamin A across everything first, and check the zinc if you take a separate mineral.
How should I store the bottle?
Cool, dry, dark, lid closed, desiccant left in. Not the bathroom, not the fridge, never a hot car.
How long before I judge it?
Twelve weeks. Nails may move at two to three; skin needs a full turnover cycle.
Safety and amounts
Is 5000 mcg of biotin safe?
No upper limit has ever been established for biotin, so it is not a toxicity question. It is a laboratory interference question, and it is a real one.
Will it affect my blood test?
The biotin can. Thyroid panels and cardiac troponin above all. Tell whoever draws the sample.
Is 630 mcg of vitamin A a lot?
Not on its own — the adult upper limit is 3000 mcg from all sources. It becomes a question when stacked with a multivitamin or a cod liver oil.
Can I take it while pregnant?
Not without your doctor's explicit approval. Vitamin A is the reason and it is the most serious caution on this site.
What about breastfeeding?
Same answer. Anything carrying vitamin A goes past your own clinician before you begin it.
What if I am already on a prescribed retinoid?
Ask your prescriber. Drugs of that family are built from vitamin A, so swallowing more adds to what the prescription is already delivering.
Is 2.7 mg of zinc enough to do anything?
It is a conservative amount inside a broad formula rather than a therapeutic dose. The conservatism is deliberate, because zinc competes with copper.
Are there side effects?
Most people report none. Mild digestive upset in the first week is commonest, and the cautions page lists everything.
Can children take it?
No. Under-eighteens are outside the intended audience, and since it is visually indistinguishable from confectionery, the bottle belongs somewhere a child cannot get to.
Is there sugar in it?
Yes, and the amount per serving is on the nutrition panel. Read it before ordering if you manage carbohydrate.
I have diabetes. Can I take it?
Look at the panel yourself, then raise it with whoever looks after your treatment. The sugar is small and real, and your plan is what decides.
What if I have a reaction?
Stop. Difficulty breathing, swelling around the face, lips or tongue, or a rash spreading across you all mean urgent medical attention rather than a message to anybody.
Buying it
How much does it cost?
Seventy-nine dollars each if you buy two, sixty-nine each at three, forty-nine each at six. Compared here.
Which bundle should I buy?
Three bottles is precisely three months, which is the length of a fair trial, and it clears the free postage threshold and the downloads. Six is cheaper per bottle and a larger commitment.
Where do I buy it?
The seller's official checkout, which every order button here opens. Why the source matters.
Can I buy it in a shop?
The product goes straight from seller to buyer and does not sit on a shop shelf.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay once, nothing is stored, and there is no arrangement to unwind later.
Is shipping free?
Included domestically once the order reaches three bottles. The two-bottle starter has shipping added at checkout.
How long is delivery?
Typically one to two working days to dispatch and five to seven in transit.
Do you ship internationally?
This site ships nothing. Availability outside the US is stated by the seller at checkout.
Is there a discount code?
The bundle pricing is the discount. Sites advertising a secret extra code are generally trying to intercept the click.
Refunds and this site
How long is the guarantee?
Two months, counted from the charge appearing on your statement, and a half-used bottle is still eligible.
Who pays return postage?
You do. Normal for this category, and worth knowing beforehand.
How do I claim a refund?
Take your order number to the seller's support desk, ask them where to send it, then post the bottles by a tracked method. The five steps in full.
Can you cancel my order?
No. Orders belong to the checkout that processed them.
Is this the manufacturer's website?
No. This is an independent guide that links to the official checkout and earns a commission on orders placed through those links.
